DD worn out after bug- how long to recover?

DD1 (3.6) was ill Thu and Fri with some kind of bug- temp hovering between 38 and 39, exhausted, sick once and coughing but no other real symptoms. Her temp has been normal sine Fri night but she's still utterly shattered and slept for several hours today. She normally bounces back very quickly after illness, so I'm slightly concerned. Is it normal to take so long to recover? When should I worry?

I would expect her to be tired for another couple of days and maybe still off her food as well, as long as her temp is ok and she hydrated I wouldn't worry too much

this thread caught my eye as i fell same about my dd at mo. she had exactly the same last wed thur fri. sick once, same temperatures. she is 9 and looks like a ghost, complete with dark eyes. She is really off her food and tired (both unusual for her)

i think there are some humdinger bugs about at the moment. don't worry just feed small nutritious things...i keep telling myself that if the temps have gone they must be on the up, just a slower up than normal....
