Poor DS3 has chickenpox, D&V, an ear infection and a skin infection. As you can imagine he is not feeling very well poor little thing.
Out of hours GP saw him at the weekend and gave him some liquid antibiotics for the infections, not ideal as he is being sick but he felt it was the best option.
He is drinking water well, and doesn't show any signs of dehydration - I have been watching closely - but he doesn't have much appetite for solids. Not surprising since he has brought up practically everything he has eaten since Sunday.
He does still breastfeed well and I know that is getting in there as his nappies today have been breastmilk nappies, rather than liquid diarhorrea, so I think we are coming towards the end of the D&V (although he has been sick twice today).
I am just wondering if the breastmilk alone will be enough as he is nearly 11mo? I feel maybe it might be a good idea to just give him BM and water until he stops being sick, but would this be OK? I don't want him to get hungry as well - I think he is feeling bad enough as it is.
