Red marks that look like sores or small cuts on 5yo, plus new moles...

I think I am overly worrying but dd is not her usual self at the moment, and these marks are bothering me I guess because of her not be quite herself.

She had two small what seemed like nail scratch marks on her face, red, had bled, took a couple of weeks to go. I noticed them as they were on different sides of her face do if a caught nail, not righ place. Iykwim.

She has lots of new moles, small, pale, raises (I say lots, about 5 or 6) but quite recently.

Anyway, she now has had a dark red (like dried blood) tiny but obvious mark on her chest/neck, and I went to wipe it off and she screamed. I think partly as it surprised her that it would hurt rather than severe pain. It came off nd was like a little bit of skin. just up from that there are another two very new moles, or rather more like blemishes, raised nd bit/red bumps.

Anyone evey experienced anything like this? I am almost bu not 100% certain the little cut marks are not scratch marks, as no lines like you get with a scratch.

First thing that comes to mind is Molloscum Contagiosum as it certainly fits what you are describing. NHS info here Is that anytihng like it?

Yes, I thought molluscum straight away too.

No, they look too round and uniform in shape. And the red 'cuts' are not from a mole like bump, but rather next to. And may not even be connected. The moles look a little bit like small blood blisters, or a rounder version of broken capillary. I will take a photo of both the scratch type mark and the 'moles'.

Weirdly they look like this, the new moles. And the ones that look like a cut or nail nick, maybe it came up and was scratched? But I would be surprise that i did not notice them before she scratched, so don't think this is actually it, along with he not being middle aged and all! But close to how they look.

My experience having very moley children is that you do seem to get several coming up at once then none for ages.

My dd1 had a mark that could be similar on her leg. It was raised, about 2-3mm across and getting bigger. It started pale, then went darkerI took her to the GP and I can't remember what it was called but it's basically a blood vessel going a bit "mad" as ds would call it and expanding.
The GP said most shrink on their own, but they can freeze them off if wanted because if you knock them they bleed badly, and then can enlarge again. We booked hers to be frozen off a couple of months later, and within a month it was noticably shrinking. About a year after we first noticed it, it now is a tiny red flat mark and that is going.

However I'd get yours checked out, particularly if there's several. He didn't say there were complications other than knocking them and them bleeding, but I would go and ask.
