Hospital stay for 14 month old - what do they sleep in (cardiff)

Will they put the baby in a cot?

We co-sleep. He's in for one night. Will there be a bed for me and him or will I be expected to sleep on a chair? It's the Heath hospital in Cardiff if anyone has direct experience. Many thanks

They usually put a put you up bed next to a cot, but i don't thing it will be a problem to pop him in with you, although the beds are quite narrow.

They will have a cot ready I would think and usually there are put-up beds for mums next to the childs cot/bed.

But if you tell them when you arrive that he sleeps in a bed at home with you, then they hopefully will be able to find him a bed and you could climb in with him, they have rails to go the side so he can't fall out. My local hospital was happy for me to do that anyway.
