cold weather and dry chapped skin - what to use...

DS (2yrs) has been out in the cold all day on and off and with his very dribbly style has managed to get very cold chapped skin around his face.

It doesn't seem to be bothering him but i wonder what the best thing to put on it is? something like E45 or Aqueous cream or a barrier like Sudacreme?

Advice gratefully received

Many Thanks

Ds has awful habit of licking all around his lips/face

Best thing we have found for it is vaseline (applied before and after being outside)

Lansinoh is good, helps to heal too.

I used bepanthan nappy cream on ds' face. It seemed to work, as it stopped him licking his top lip enough for it to heal.

Eight Hour cream is very good for that kind of thing.

vaseline before you go out....cheap and cheerful!
