Would you take your 5 year old to the GP for this?

ONE episode of vomitting. Also had D+V last week, couple of episodes.

Just wondering. Said child also visited the GP last week and seemingly is at the GP every week for some ailment.

No. I wouldn't take my 23mo for one episode of vomitting preceded by two cases of D&V the previous week.

I am guessing this is not your child though - are you certain there are no other symptoms or that they weren't told to take the child back if they were ill again?

I would leave it a couple of days unless you think he is dehydrated. There is alot going round at the moment and it seems d&v is the bug of the season. (At least it is near me.)

Are you asking about someone else because your OP comes across as very judgemental and the use of 'seemingly' makes it sound as though you don't know the facts for certain.

Ds was sick and had tummy pains and various other things on and off for weeks after a bad infection. Nothing specific just lots of niggly things and yes, the most recent time he was sick at school I took him even though it was only once because I'd had enough adnw was worried.
