12 year old - stomach pains for 5 day now?

Since Sunday he has pains in his stomach and complains a little, not much of feeling sick. No diahorrea , just bit loose the other day. Doc said must be a virus. But surely it should be better by now.usually they are sick, and pains gone in 24 hours? The pain is all over tummy, and worse in the mornings, no problem going to the loo. Anyone elses children got this? Thanks

well, a stomach bug can last for more than 24 hours, but 5 days of pain must be miserable.

I would go back to the doctors.

Thanks. Still hurting today . Definately worse in the mornings and perked up later. I wondered if appendix but doc not say so. The doc was very rude and dismissive when I went . I said its unusual to have tummy pains this long and no sickness etc. usually they have a. Pain, sick, and ok in 24 hours ! Thanks x

Maybe he's a little blocked up? You can still poo and have a blockage.

Ask him if he can hop on his right leg, if he can appendix unlikely
