Dry skin on 6 month olds head and chest

Hi

Dd is 6 months old and has developed flaky skin on each side of her scalp which is slightly red.

Its not like cradle cap

She also has a small patch of dry skin on her chest. The base is raised and quite red too.

Should I see a doctor, or would you recommend a cream if your babies had simiar?

As long as it's simple dry, pink, flaky skin and not ringworm then try some E45 applied 3-4 times a day, and if it's no better see the GP/HV in case it needs something different.
