That's it really, its one half of one eye, on day one it was a little gunky but hasn't been since, she has got a cough and cold, about the 6th one this winter. It starts the day a bit pink but is very red by the end. She does seem to be rubbing it but this may be due to tiredness from rubbish nights caused by teething, cough and cold. Wasn't too worried but am feeling a little uncertain now it's been going on for a few days.

Appreciate any thoughts or advice.

You could use a cotton ball dipped in cooled boiled water and swipe across lid to clean. If it persists see the GP and they will probably give you some eye cream in case its conjunctivitis.
