Any views on Lamotrigine/Lamictal to treat epilepsy?

Hello, posting in here and SEN just in case there's some cross over. Our daughter has epilepsy and has had a very bad response to both Epilem (Sodium Valproate) then Keppra (Leviteracitum) then Epilem and Lamotrigine. Her behaviour has just become totally uncontrollable with madly aggressive outbursts of hitting, biting, hair pulling, insomnia and behaving like she was generally drunk etc. This is totally out of the ordinary for our child.

The consultant has decided to slowly reduce the Epilem and up the Lamotrigine, ending up on Christmas day with just Lamotrigine (Ho ho ho).

Does anyone has any views/experiences of any of these drugs and or circumstances especially Lamotrigine? Any views would be really appreciated, especially information relating to behaviour.

Thanks a lot
