What do you when your toddler says something hurts

But you can't see anything wrong? Last few days ds's knee hurts yet I can't see anything and I suspect it's just something he's saying as he will forget about it for long periods of time. However, the paranoid pfb parent inside says 'what if it really is something serious'.

The knee has changed sides this morning. I think he's just having a bad case of 'three'.
