The. Rear half ish of dd (18 months) has a whitish coating. It is smooth. She has had it ever since tiny when mw said it was just milk residue. It doesnt come off with brushing but I have only ever tried gently as it makes her gag. No nappy rash and no other obvious discomfort for her or I (we bf). Her breath doesnt smell apart from sour cream, but again she has. Always had that. Sometimes coating turns a brownish. Colour but I am presuming that is what she eats staining it. Should I worry or can I continue to ignore?

sorry for random typos, on phone...

I'm interested in this one, DD2, now 5 has always had this. She was treated for thrush as a baby which made no difference. I've been ignoring it now, but it would be interesting to know what the cause might be!
