5 yr old having flu vaccine today - what side effects can i expect?

My ds has asthma and takes a preventer inhaler every day during the winter months. He is having his flu vaccine today. What side effects have anyone elses children had after it please? He has not had the vaccine before.

Ds is just turned 2 and had the flu jab the last 2 winters due to asthma and has never had any side effects.

Ds is almost 5 he had no side effects BUT he has only had the first jag - apparently they need a second one 4-6 weeks later at this age.

Hello,
Thanks for replies. He had the jab on friday and has been fine. The nurse said he will need another dose in 4 to 6 weeks.
