Are they common in girls? Which type of antibiotics was prescribed to treat?

I only asked because my dd had a clear, runny discharge and a swab result came back with some bacteria. GP prescribed amoxicillin, but I thought with vaginal infections you are treated with another type of antibiotics? I called the surgery and spoke to another doctor and she confirmed amoxicillin should be OK. Had anyone been prescribed amoxicillin for vaginal infections before?

Another thing, is it normal for little girls to get some stains on their knickers? No discharge but a bit of stain?

Mango, all of your posts are about this issue. Either you have a weirdy obsession or you really need to just trust the advice of doctors on this.

I predicted some of you are going to criticised me but I haven't got a weird obsession at all - I'm just not coping well and need some reassurance! I thought that's what this forum is all about - asking advice from other members of the board. I can't keep on going back to the doctors so I thought this might be the best place to ask.
