1yr old with temp-to still go out or not?

My ds has developed a temp last night and has had it all day. Peaking t 39 and down to 37.5 after med. Bit grouchy but still active. I have a cold. Had a party scheduled with friends for months. Sil babysitting. Place about 20mins away. Should I still go? Worried about ds.

Yeah, just go. Assuming it's no problem to get back on the off chance he needs you.

Yeah thats what my dh says. Been out once together of an eve since ds was born 18mths ago. I do fret though!
