4yo DS1's penis very swollen and red

DS1 got up this morning and was complaining that it hurts when he had to go to the toilet. So I had a look and his penis is very swollen and red. He is complaining that it hurts a lot. He says he needs the toilet but whenever he goes he just cries in pain. I've rung the doctor so just waiting to hear back from them.

Any ideas what it could be? I hate seeing him like this

Could it be phimosis or something like that? If you can't get a Gp appt, I'd take him to A&e as it needs to be checked out ASAP.

DS has had something similar, it was an infection of some sort. He had anti-biotics and a cream to use. Cleared up really quickly once he had the meds.

They said he has infection and we have anti-biotics and cream so hopefully it'll clear up soon.
