first baby rice and stomach upset

My son is 6 months this week so I was thinking of giving him his first spoonful of baby rice tomorrow, but he's got a bit of diarrohea, just come on today, each of the 5 nappy changes have had a runny poo in them.

I'm wondering if I should delay the baby rice?

I would. It won't hurt to leave it a week or so until you're sure he's better.

Had a hunch I should wait, I think it's just I'm so excited about weaning! But maybe I should enjoy the (relatively) peaceful milk feeds while I can :)

Oh boy yeah! I was excited about weaning but my goodness, the mess! And now i never get a full meal as 2yo DD always thinks mine looks better than hers!
