Large adenoids and baby that's constantly streaming with snot?

Ds was diagnosed with large adenoids due to the fact that he sounds like a dyson! He was admitted to hospital a few weeks ago with mild bronchiolitus, and seems to regurlarly have a cold.
Not just a runny nose type. But thick yellow snot...constantly (sorry,if tmi)
My mum was wondering if the two could be related. I thought not,but now i'm wondering too.
I just don't know why he gets so many colds. He never seems to be free of them.(breast is best, my arse)

My no2 DS had large adenoids when he was little. He constantly dribbled and had the thick yellow snot too. I used to think it was a constant cold but he was really quite healthy. He had to breathe through his mouth. It was just the way he was. I took him to the doctor and he told me he would grow out of it, his body size would catch up with his adenoids. He did. I am sure it was by the time he started school at 4. He is now 16 and very healthy and no dribble or snot.

Hope this helps.

My DS was the same. Large adenoids and constantly really really snotty (and dribbly). He also had large tonsils and had these removed at 2.5 and had adneoids shaved (ick) at the same time. Now he is 4 and since the op he has been much better and averagely snotty I would say.
