my dd has had bad diarroeah since monday, i have spoken to gp who has said to carry on with her milk as normal and to try and give her light meals, ie toast, mash potato etc. also spoke to hv and she said try some pro biotic yoghurt aswell as the light meals, i have done all this aswell as making sure she is drinking plenty of water and she has been having tiny bits of rice pudding purely for the sugar for energy hv said it was a good idea.
Everything she has is just coming straight out she has only been sick 3 times since monday but it has been violent projectile vomiting each time, and i have been having to change her nappies after everything she has, and imbetween sometimes twice in 1 hour.
I have a docs appointment in a couple of hours but could anyone please advise me on what they do for her and also does anyone have any suggestions as what to do clothes/nappy as all her clothes are being ruined as nappies will not hold due to how watery it is, and her bum is getting so sore, i have been leaving her as much as i can without a nappy but obvs cant do this all the time, any advise would be greatfully appreciated i feel so sorry for her and just wish i could do more

Banana, apple juice, White rice and pasta will help firm up the stools. If you are concerned call the gp again or a health visitor. My dd2 had a bug at 8 months and Dd1 had it at the same time. Dd1 threw it off within 24 hours but Dd2 was ill for a good ten days on and off. Ella's kitchen do a fruit purée which is apple and banana so that might be something that tastes
nice. It's so so hard when they are this young
