We have been out a lot this week, and he is quite fair (have used lotion, but he refuses a hat - makes his head hot) He developed a bit of a temp yesterday afternoon, no other symptoms. had some calpol and went to bed, waking at 10pm with a 39.8 temp which came and went all night. He seemed ok this morning, we went inthe garden for a bit and within 20 mins his temp went up again. Coincidence or could it be sun related?

virus, infection or sun related but would keep him out the sun either way as he needs to keep cool to bring temp down. my dd had a day indoors due to high temp and sore legs, she was better next day prob a virus in her case.

sun stroke has a few symptoms. d&v, shivers, headaches, lethargy, painfull joints etc, dehydration. sun loation wont prevent it. a hat will reduce likelyhood, failing that stay indoors between 11 and 4 or stay in shade.

hope is better soon.
