DD 14 month is supposed to be having general Anasthetic on Tuesday but has come down with cold

Also anyone got any tips how I can cope with her hunger as she has to fast from midnight

Ring the ward that she will be on after surgery and ask them re the cold.

She is not having surgery she is having an Mri Angiography (dye put round her body). She has no temperature at present just lots of lovely green snots (tmi).

Thanks for the tips re hinger, we have to be at the hospital from 8am but will def put her in the bath on the ward to keep her entertained

I dont think they will. DS is having an op in July and got all of his info through the other day and that said if there was any signs of a cough or cold it would be postponed. I would give them a call tomorrow and ask, at least then if they cant do it your not putting her through the nil by mouth to then find out when you arrive they can't do it.

Mtp: how amazing. I suddenly thought "I wonder how mummytopebs is doing?" idly to myself today, searched your name and came across this thread. Haven't seen you about much, but have often thought about your dd and wondered how she was getting on.

I expect they will carry on with the G.A. unless she seems very poorly on Tuesday.

What are they looking for? what's the latest news on your lovely dd?

Hi Bibbity they are looking to see if the blood vessels going to her organs are working properly as she is not weeing much and she had a bleed in her colon a few weeks ago. I have been quiet as we are no further forward really :(
