DD (6mo) been on amoxicillin since yesterday for chest infection but since seeing GP has now started rubbing and pulling her ears and being even more grumpy than she already was. Any point going back to doctors or will the ABs she is already on sort her out, assuming this is an ear infection?

Hi, DD (11mo) has been on amoxicillin several times since Christmas for chronic ear infection. A small chest infection was discovered recently, but no additional ABs were prescribed. So you should be okay, assuming that she has an ear infection. Note that it takes a while for the ABs to kick in so an immediate improvement may not be seen, however any related fever tends to disappear overnight.
