Baby has had a bruise on his face for about 2 weeks now

and it doesn't seem to be fading! It's faint blue, in the middle of his cheek. I've no idea what he did to himself, it just appeared one day, but he's recently started crawling and is forever bumping himself. I'm starting to get a bit paranoid now that it's still there... anyone had similar? Please reassure me!

DS2 and DD both have visible veins on their faces, often looks like a bruise, especially DS2's, across the bridge of his nose

Bruises don't stay blue. They change colour to purple, brown and yellow as they fade. Could it be a vein like beaker suggests?
Has it not faded at all?

Doesn't look like it to me, but it's round rather than vein-like... and it just appeared one day rather than being there since birth. It's very odd. It looks quite far under the skin, iyswim.
