DS(16 months) moaning/crying for 90min - think it's stomach cramps -what to do

He's been fussy the whole morning. Crying now for 90 minutes. Gave him Calpol an hour ago. Tried giving him Pegicol in his tea/water/milk but he doesn't want to drink any.
When I hold him he tries to climb over me, like I'm a jungle jym.
One minute he's fine then he bursts out crying.
He had 2 bowl movements - just 3 hard balls. He tried to have one but he struggles.
Any advice?

Try getting him into a nice deep bath. While he's in there rub his stomach gently. I was told to do this when DS has severe trapped wind and it settled him!
I would get a visit to the doctor arranged though, sounds like he could be constipated and your doctor will be able to give you something for it.
Hope your LOs okay :(

Thanks Rachie, DS settled after a while. had it again last night for 20min.

I gave him laxitive (for children) and it seemed to help a bit. Had a runny tummy this morning, Again this morning he has been crying and moaning. Just lied on my shoulder (what he doesn't do normally). I've put him in his cot and he's sleeping now.
