tonsilitis in 3.5 yr old - how long before he will totally recover?

DS had pretty bad case of tonsilitis which was diagnosed 3 weeks ago. he has massive swollen glands, a rash all over etc etc and was given antibiotics.

But- he is still not quite right. seems tired alot and upset easily. he has had a temperature a few times since the main illness went, which is also out of character.

we have a blood test booked just to check its nothing else, but has anyone else had this experience of tonsilitis in a child.

my son has had it a few times and is nearly 3 but nothing as you have said he was taken to hospital because they had got that big it effected breathing but no rash or anything else hope he gets better soon

thats ok its horrible dealing with children with tonsilitus especially around this age
