Snotty-nosed baby: what can I do?

DD aged 4 months has the same rotten cold as me but unlike me cannot shift the yellow gunk out of her nose! Poor little mite is snoring and snuffling at night, and getting mightily worked up when breastfeeding.

Any tips gratefully received for how i can help her! So far tried nasal aspirator but snot is too liquid, and cotton wool buds, which help a little but can't shift the main bulk of it. Are humidifiers any good?

Wet muslin on radiator with carvol on and carvol oil on muslin near bedding or carvol plug in

you can get saline nasal sprays and drops that are suitable for babies and may help clear the blockages. Karvol or olbas oil can also help.

Put your mouth over her nose and suck. I've done it. It isn't the nicest thing in the world to do, but it really does help.
