Back to nursery or one more day with Mummy?

My dd aged 2 has been off colour for weeks. I work in a nursery and she comes with me. This week she has had a temp and also got impetigo so we have been at home for 2 days and she seems a lot better today. Don't know whether to just keep her at home tomorrow for another days rest which will not impress my boss or send her in when she might be miserable all day again. What do you think?

If she has impetigo it is contagious. And being only 2 is in more close contact with children and toys that are passed round so no I would not send her in.

The nursery boss should have the common sense to work that one out!

Impetigo has had 2 days treatment with oral antibiotics and is now just about gone. She just has this ongoing virus that makes her tired and grumpy :(

Personally I would keep her home.

Viruses only seem to get better when the child rests (or at least it does with dd :) )

Go with your gut, and don't worry about your boss :)

Go with your instinct that is the best judge :)

Give her extra cuddles at home and tell the boss there is a spot still weeping he wont know will he? :)
