DD with nasty tummy bug 2 days now, seems to go then come back can anyone help?

DD has a dreadful tummy bug which is lingering, I am going to take her in to be checked as per advice for OOH as the stomach cramps are really painful. This is her first real stomach bug and I am trying to treat it as best I can

The question is I have been rolling around with her and her bodily fluids for 2 days now so why don't I have it if they are so contagious? Could it be something else?

How old is she? Could it be appendicitis (can't spell) or IBS.I suffered terrible as a yound child with that and had to go to hospital on several occasions.

If it carries on throughout the night though I would not wait until the morning if it that bad.I would take her somewhere or call nhs direct.

My dd suffered terrible with stomach problems too, sickness for months on end, never really got to the bottom of it even with all the trips to the doctors.

I do hope she feels better soon.
