kawasaki disease, anyone's child had it?

Sorry already posted about being at childrens hospital but forgot to ask whether anyone child has had this condition? Waiting on blood tests hope its not that

yes my daughter had it at 4.8 - hope your tests were negative (I was told there was no definitive diagnostic test btw - this was 2 years ago).

my friend's little boy had this 18 mos ago. really nasty at the time but he none of the long term effects. he was just 2 at the time.

iirc if it is, the dc will pick up very quickly once the right treatment is commenced - apparently every parent says 'it's a miracle' as it's so fast...

very scary though. fingers crossed x
