Dd2 has a UTI, feeling really guilty for not taking her to the GP

Sad

Dd2 has been holding herself (hands in pants) for a few weeks), last week she had a virus and stopped drinking (which hasn't helped) now i have had to pick her up from school because she has wet herself 3 times this morning and still has hands down her pants Sad.

Dd2 has Autism and often goes on drink strike and she can't tell me if she is hurting.

I feel really guilty for not taking her to the doctor weeks ago when it started, i just asumed it was a new habbit (having her hands down her pants). She has a doctors appointment at 4.15, what damage have i done by not taking her sooner?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Any blood in her urine? If not, then I would think she'll be fine.

Her we is very dark, last week i posted on here because her wee looked like orange juice Sad, i should have taken her then. Her wee is very dark and strong, i don't think there is any blood.

Oh well, don't beat yourself up now about it. Does she have fever?

Doctor will give her some ABs and it should clear up quickly.

She has a slight fever, she has had a fever on and off for a week but i thought it was because of the virus (flu thing), she seems happy(ish), just a bit pale.

Just got back from the doctors, she has a nasty UTI (everything in her wee appart from blood), they have sent her sample off, given her antibiotics for 3 days and then we have to back to gp to make sure it has gone.

Ok, glad it seems to be sorted Smile
Hope she feels better very soon.
