Could my 2yo be confusing ear pain and tooth pain?2.

2.9yo ds has earache.

He is also complaining about his back teeth "OW-ING again and again and again!" on the same side as the infected ear. He keeps opening his mouth wide and showing me the sore tooth.

Is it okay to assume that he is a bit muddled about pinpointing the pain from his ear infection? Or should I be taking him to the dentist?

He is on antibiotics and painkillers.

I'm confusing them at the moment and I'm 35! No idea whether my tooth, ear or throat hurts, but something does! I bet it's his ear. Hope he's well soon.

Yes, but worse if you're 2! My 17mo DD has it too. Pretty miserable week here! Hope it improves for you soon.
