Do I trust his instincts on food? D&V 5 days

We had 2 days of vomiting and are on our fifth day of diarrhoea. DS is 7 months and initially refused milk, but would sip water, then wanted milk and some food and is now ravenous for milk but won't touch food with a barge pole. He was BLWed so has never had food put in his mouth for him.

So do I trust his instincts? Or try to force him to eat? He seems not to be dehydrated, just still sick. Very hard when I just want him to get better!

As long as he is drinking plenty I wouldn't worry about it. Offer the food and he will eat when he feels better

yes

no need to force him to eat food if he's taking milk

Thank you. I know it's good sense but mother worry sometimes makes you really doubt yourself!

Ok, he's in charge!
