How to get 20 month old to take antibiotics

I have tried everything, he is on Flucloxacillin...the most foul tasting meds I have ever tasted. Haven't managed to get one dose into him yet

I gave up and went back to the GP and asked for amoxicillin which tastes better. Its a broad spectrum a/b so it might not be as specific for your DCs infection but it will still work, just may take slightly longer.

Would he take it if bribed?

With Ds I have to lie him down and slowly syringe it into the side of his mouth and he takes most

I've seriously have tried everything, he can spit it out even if it's half way down his throat. Have just called doctor, they are going to give me another prescription. I hope it tastes better.
