ds smashed a glass this morning and i spent ages carefully clearing it up but not carefull enough as this lunch time dd stood on a very small piece and it went into the sole of her foot - i couldnt see or feel it but it did bleed and is very sore she cant put her foot down properly, what can i do ? i mean if i cant see it how do i know if its still in there - she has a 15 minute walk to school tomorrow

Sounds like its still in there, that sounds exactly like my foot was, I limped around for a week then eventually my dad fished it out with tweezers! Maybe trip to a&e? Or walk-in centre?

Whether its there or not, if she can't put weight on her foot, she can't walk to school tomorrow can she. You'll have to keep her home I guess, that is if they can't fix it at a&e.

id nip her to A&E. she cant walk to school if she is in pain with glass in her foot! give her a day off and get it sorted. you wouldnt want to walk with glass in your foot would you?
