Gifts for mother/child having chemo

Hi
A dear friend of mine DD has just started chemo to reduce the size of a brain tumour. They suspect she will be in and out of hospital for the next few years.

Does anyone have any good ideas for gifts for the girl (she's 10 months) or the mother?

Thanks in advance.

food ready to heat in the freezer, shopping ordered if possible, be there to listen and help with housework. Dont forget the icepops for LO, mouths get sore.
For mum if she's spending night in hospital with LO, PJs, a good source of books and snacks.

  • own mug for parent's room
  • tea bags
  • handcream. Hospital soap and alcohol rubs dry out hands

Thank you. I don't live in the same country so it would be a gift I send to her. I think the handcream and the pajamas sounds like nice ideas.
Thank you.
