going to see the consultant this afternoon..

DD was referred because her head measured 42cm at her 8 month check..ive measured it now, 8 weeks after the 8 month check and it has grown 2cm :) and i looked on her chart and at her age now and 44cm means she is out of the red bit :) (hope i haven't measured wrong!)

Anyone any idea what may happen today? Im feeling really nervous and just wondered if anyone else had been there...thanks.

DD1's head was on the 50th centile and is still average now. DH's head is only 2cm bigger than DD1's DH is coming today so they will see that he has a smaller than average head too. He doesn't look funny or anything! He keeps going on about being a pin head My head measurement is about 8cm bigger than DH's!

No other symptoms, I dont feel anything is wrong really. I don't want her to have to have a scan or anything, i hope they will just want to see us again in a few months or something...

Well, i am so relieved that DD's head is fine and we have been discharged
Apparently the HV's chart was wrong?? And the consultant checked on her chart, which showed DD's head growth is following the 25th centile. She checked her development too and all is well. Im a happy bunny :)
