nappies after a tummy bug (tmi - you've been warned!)

We all had a vomiting bug for half term (how lovely). We're all feeling fine now, but ds (2.10) is still having revolting pooey nappies.

He's eating normally (well normally for him anyway) and the colour is ok, but there's much more poo than normal, it's very, very smelly and it's not really solid so goes everywhere (sorry). He's now got nappy rash quite badly now and he's so sore :( Also (selfishly) I can't send him to preschool like this!

Is there anything I can give him that will sort his nappies out?

thanks :)

Could be that he is reacting to the lactose in dairy (quite common after a bug as the enzymes that break it down are reduced due to illness. perhaps try him off dairy for a few days?
