Newborn with white coated tongue - just milk?

DD2 is 5 weeks and seems to constantly have a white coated tongue. is this just milk?

Could be thrush. Without seeing it I couldn't pass comment really. I would take her to the docs :)

Sounds like it maybe thrush. My HV kept telling me that DS just had a "milky tongue". He eventually ended up having awful thrush nappy rash and was in real discomfort Sad. It cleared up pretty quickly though with the right stuff.

Oh dear, hope its not as has been like it for a while :(. i just assumed it was milk.

Just did a bit of googling which said to rub it and if it come away its just milk. currently n the boob but will check when she comes off.
