Advice needed 4 yr old daughter with ear injury & fever

Hi I just need some advice, my 4 yr old daughter has fallen off her scooter in the garden 2 hours ago, she banged the top of her ear on a wall, it started bleeding at the top and just under the fold which is also swollen. The main thing I'm worried about is she now has a fever of 39.3 and I'm not sure if this is related to the injury whereby I need to take her to a doctor or she is coming down with something

I cant see how they are related unless she has been crying and is all worked up. Did you take her temp with an ear thermometer in the injured ear? How is she after some calpol? Maybe she wasn't feeling well to start with and thats why she fell off the scooter in the first place. Hope she is better now though, the ear will probably be ok if it is just swollen.
