my 6 yrs old been coughing for a month now

and i have given her cough med from the chemist. Its abit better but its still there. Its worse when its cold outside first thing in the morning. She is her normal self but got a runny nose and i know its not on her chest but in her throat.

should i take her to the docs on monday? or leave it to ride it out?

My rule is two weeks (unless they are really poorly). If a cold/cough type thing goes on for that long I go to the drs.

Its most probably nothing to worry about but a month is quite a long time for a cough.
