DD is 2yrs & has been unwell with a high temp since last night. She has vommitted once & apart from some orange squash she has had nothing else to eat today.
Her nappy was wet this morning but she hasn't been to the toilet at all today & has been asleep on the sofa since 9am even though she slept all night.

Should I try booking a gp visit or just ride it out & see how she is tomorrow?

Height of temp won't matter at all. They will ask how she is in herself. Is she responsive to you? any difficulties breathing? sensitivity to light?

Sleeping is good but if she has a fever you need to keep her hydrated. Sips of water or juice as often as possible. Make sure she is still has wet nappies. Don't worry about her not eating - that is normal when they are sick. Try to stick with fruit/veggies if you are offering her something because they are easier to digest while her body is fighting off the bug.

If the temp is not making her uncomfortable I would not treat it. Fevers are a good thing - they are the body's defence against illness. Of course if she is miserable then by all means give her something but I always try to bring down their temp by stripping down, fanning etc first. Hope she is feeling a bit better this evening.
