My ds is nearly 1.

He was vomiting on Saturday. He stopped by Saturday afternoon and was much brighter. He's still chipper. Not as happy as usual but fine.

But since then he's eaten sod all food but lots and lots of bm. His nappies are like scrambled egg.

He's also writhing around a lot in bed at nighttime. I try to make him comfy and feed him etc.

Has he still got a tummy bug, do you think? Or is it just that he's taking in on bm at the moment and that's why his poos are weird.

And his nappies are full so does this mean he's generally ok and is just low, fighting a bug?

Everyone seems to be ill at the moment.

His poos will definitely look like that due to having only milk I would have thought.

WRT a tummy bug, I can never be sure, but I would just give him plenty of fluids and then start him on a little bit of banana or toast when he looks interested in food again.

Apparently apple puree is meant to be good after a tummy bug too.

Loads of BM will make his poos more runny. Also the writhing sounds like he's still got tummy trouble. My DS had something similar a while back - took over a week for his poos to get back to normal.

My dd (18m) had the D&V bug last week. She had it pretty bad and we eventually had her to the GP as we were worried she was dehydrated. She was fine, but the GP said it could take up to 2 weeks for her nappies to get back to normal! Shock (Hers were like peanut butter and water mixed together!)

Hope he feels better soon. It's so worrying isn't it x
