We noticed a few weeks ago that DD (3y/o) thumb will not go straight, not referred to as her 'magic thumb'.
I know it was not always like this as I cut her nails so I would have spotted it before right??
Anyway, took her to the docs who insisted to begin with it was a ruptured tendon and that one could straighten it... hmmmm, then he found this not to be the case and sent us off to get xrays.
It really is just fused in that position, its the top knuckle, it bends from her hand.
Anyone got any advise? I am really worried its a pre-curser to something more hideous. She has allergies and had medicated reflux as a baby. We have had that many hospital tests I hate to think of starting all over again.
Does anyone know what it could be please?
Many thanks
