There is not much you can do other than avoiding people who sneeze without using a handkerchief.

My brother swears by French homeopathic stuff called L52 for his kids - and himself. Its true they only missed one day of school/no days of school last year - and as they were 5 and 7 at the time I was slightly impressed (but not enough to battle with my two to get them to drink L52 drops in water every day Blush)

Dont send them to school or nursery! Seriously keep them as healthy, diet, fresh air etc as possible and try to encourage good hand hygiene (near impossible with children!) Reassure yourself though that they are getting strong immune systems.

Handwashing.

And using a tissue - catch it, bin it, kill it.

Handwashing. Wearing gloves. Wash coats regularly.

A suitable multi vit.

I give mine Sambucol pretty regularly and probiotic yoghurt daily. DS in particular has been far healthier since I started doing that - he hasn't necessarily caught less, but has got over it quicker (although whether that's a feature of him being older, and therefore immune to more, I don't know). But it feels as though I'm 'doing' something, iykwim.
