... the dds' newborn skin was always very peachy

Is this normal? They are like tiny little pimples on his cheek and neck

He is still the most gorgeous baby in the World, though Grin

My ds had beautiful skin, but poor little dd had little spots which looked like little pimples. They got worse unfortunately before they cleared. HV and Dr were split on advice. HV said nothing but warm water to wipe over face and no creams but Dr prescribed cream. Think it was called Aveeno which you can buy off the shelf. Have to say the cream did help because just before they cleared up they seemed to go crusty and cream stopped dd scratching. Had beautiful skin by 8wks.

DS had a bad case of baby acne at about 4 weeks old. It soon cleared on it's own, although he did go on to have ezcema on his face, but I don't think the two things were related. He has lovely skin now.

My DS had this. I didn't give any baths or wash his skin. Just used cooled boiled water around his mouth, eyes and behind the ears. Cleared up by itself and his skin is lovely now.

Stop using fabric conditioner in your laundry - worked a treat for DD.

One of mine had yellow pussy looking spots at a couple of weeks old - it turned out to be a streptococcal infection requiring antibiotics. I'd get it checked out just in case Smile
