Do I need to be worried?

Put her in her cot for 5 minutes while I hoovered the bedrooms. Don't know where the hell she got the rubber from, all I can think of is one of the other DC must have left it on top of the drawers that are within DD's reach.

Found her happily munching away, little bits of blue rubber round her mouth

At least you aren't in the usa, because your dd eating a rubber would be really really gross.
I once had to explain to a beach full of nuns in full habit in Italy why it was ok for my dd (1.5 years at the time) to eat the wet sand in large mouthfuls. I convinced them by telling them that ds (still had his baby fat at the time) had done the same when he was younger and look how healthy he turned out.

Wit until christmas Memoo. DD spend her first one under the tree eating tinsel. Every nappy change was a sparkly experience. You are not a crap mum by the way. DD also ate a gekko. that was horrible.
