While I was helping my 2 yo on toilet, my 10 mo crawled away and when I'd finished wiping up pooey bum, I looked round door and found him with refill in his hand, the "wick" part looking chewed/played with and he was stinking of air freshener.
After giving up waiting for NHS Direct to answer, I rang local A&E dept where dr just said that I'd need to contact company to find out contents since I don't have packaging any more and ask them what to do. He said it would probably be fine. To cut a long story short, I've found ingredients and reactions and since he's been sick, haven't induced vomiting in him. He's fine in himself, laughing away to himself and at his sister so don't think I need to take him to A&E...
Has anyone else's children ever swallowed anything similar and if so, what happened? I've got to pick my husband up from airport in 20 minutes and since our local A&E has terrible waiting times I'm wondering if I should go or just put it down to experience and get rid of the damn air fresheners!!!
