Daughters foot, is it infected? picture included

Her new shoes rubbed on the back of her foot which made it sore but now it looks like this:

It's very swollen & really hurting her today but not quite sure if there is anything I can do aprt from cover it with a plaster.

Sure, it's Bactroban 2% ointment -= the 2% is mupirocin.

means nothing to me!!!
