A pale pink, raised, round patch of skin on dd2's arm - what could it be?

Her skin is quite tanned on her arms so it's really noticeable.

Any ideas?

Ringworm? (not a worm, a fungal infection).

Eczema? Obviously without seeing it I can't tell but I used to get it really bad and at the start of an outbreak I found it was raised pink and itchy (not always for the first day or two). Other signs to look out for if it is eczema or psoraisis (sp?) is itchy and dry, cracked, flaky and poss weeping skin.

If you're still not sure have you tried putting her symptoms in Google? Also if it's bothering her I would advise seeing GP or maybe ring NHS Direct for advise (or go online) 0845 4647.

Sorry can't be more helpful but hope your dd is ok.
