REALLY smelly poo for last week in 18 mo DD-TMI

It's not more frequent, 1 or 2 times a day. Texture- not diarrhoea, but almost. Colours vary. The smell- Oh my God. No, really, I've been gagging. It started a around a week ago when she had a liquidy stool once or twice, and since then it's less liquidy (almost a bf baby's poo texture, a bit thicker) but smelly.

I googled and came across Cystic Fibrosis- but she was tested for this at the hospital when she was born.

Then-coeliac disease- but no other symptoms.

I'm not sure it's a virus- wouldn't she have a proper diarrhoea with lots of bm a day?

Any ideas?

Bumping again because my 14m DD is having very similar-sounding poos (have also googled and come up with scary stuff, but no other symptoms). Only one poo a day, or every other day, but very smelly, very soft and huge (sorry, TMI).

Thanks StayFrosty. DD definitely has 1 molar coming (her 2nd), and about 3 more teeth coming as well, but wasn't like this with her other teeth. Korma is a good description! I think I'll take her to doctors on Monday if this continues over the weekend. Seems strange, she doesn't seem in the least bit ill.

Thanks a lot Smile. I'm really hoping it's just a phase.

My DD also had horrendous nappies at this age(and really bad nappy rash poor thing) when she was teething.
Hope your DD is better soon.
